One of my posts is linked at Stingtalk. It’s the highlight of my ten-year stint in blogging.

Pencil necks gonna pencil neck. You’re probably some kind of dark wizard to those nerds.
Don’t let it go to your head.
Lost me at “Bokonon High Priest”
Bokononism is based on the concept of foma, which are defined as harmless untruths. A foundation of Bokononism is that the religion, including its texts, is formed entirely of lies; however, one who believes and adheres to these lies will have peace of mind, and perhaps live a good life. The primary tenet of Bokononism is to “Live by the foma that make you brave and kind and healthy and happy.”
Read that slowly. That may be the most Tech thing ever.
…a world where everyone gets a trophy.
….a world where a 5&6 record is pretty good..it gets you into a bowl game.
….a world where you are better than others because you were required to take trigonometry.
Is that anything like Pokemonism? I’ve heard a lot of that goes on at the Tech campus also.
A Joseph Campbell – Kurt Vonnegut kind of place where you often hear “You think this is bad, I’ve seen worse ” “like that time I followed my bliss”.
Senator, you are a damn good dwag!
Geez, those guys make Munson look like an optimist.
Yeah, I was impressed with how pessimistic they are about their defense containing Chubb and Michel. Hope that comes true. Congrats Senator, the nerds follow you! Probably some of the trolls we get on this blog.
I stopped by Stingtalk to take a look. The Avatars over there…….
I just can’t do Stingtalk….but congrats on getting more hits.
RECRUITS ARE GONNA READ THAT!
And then they are going to text and or twitter every recruit in America.
I was at the GT/GSoU game and saw Southern get a serious push on tech’s D line all day long. We may be able to do the same.
Duke managed 30+ on them — and Duke is a good bit worse in offensive metrics than we are (they’re 122nd at finishing drives…but outrank us on field position.)
“It’s not like we’re saving ourselves,” quarterback Stetson Bennett said. “We’re going every play like we’re trying to do something. I don’t really know how to answer that. It’s not like we just flip a switch.”-- The Athletic, 11/13/22
