Haterz gone hate.

Georgia is a 10-point home underdog to Auburn, the largest such margin in twenty years.

Well, they covered the last time, so there’s that.

I’m afraid it will be a sad state of affairs to watch no fewer than 6 guys on the Auburn DL that could have/should have come to UGA totally eviscerate our hapless O-Line. Sorry but I don’t see any way of scheming around what that group will be bringing to Athens. The only thing more shameful on the part of Richt & Co than the OL roster management (or lack thereof) was allowing Adams, Russell, Jackson, Lawson, Williams, etc to leave the state. If not for Trent Thompson and some overachieving freshmen, we’d paying for this gaff just as bad as the other side of the line.

Wow, it only took two posts to blame Richt for a spead in the 10th game of the year.

      New record?

Where did I blame the spread on Richt? I just pointed out another misgiving of our former coach, one that would have been just as applicable in Game 1 as Game 10. Has nothing to do with the spread unless you believe their DL is the lone reason they’re favored by 10.

So it’s not the spread. You’re blaming the entire season on Richt. Got it.

          Kirby and McGarity appreciate it.

Insofar as the entire season comes down to the personnel you have to work with on the OL and DL. But where’s the fun in feigned outrage over something I never actually said, amirite?

How did we not sign two stud in state WR’s that a run happy spread offense was able to get?

Yep. We all know that one team can sign ALL the great talent in its state.

    • We can’t afford to lower that reserve fund to compete with the Barn. Amazing how Rodney Garner became an elite recruiter again once he went home and had the checkbook opened up. I don’t blame MR for him not even calling kids who wanted to come to UGA but he should have been sent packing years ago.

How many of the recruts had the grades to get into UGA or are we not suppose to check if they are 4 or 5 star recruts. Just would like to know#####

You’re right….never could understand how Richt won all those games without talent.

ADGM taking us back to the halcyon days of 1996 – maybe we can rock that sound system with a half time Macarena?

Sadly, it is deserved. But I’m gonna pin this up at the Butts bulletin board.

Guessing Vegas is confident White and Pettway both play and are mostly healthy on offense?

Bigger point spread than Chizik’s last year at Auburn?

Calm down boys. We’re finally getting our poop in a group. Chaney’s upstairs, Butler’s solved our kicking problems, and poor Catalina being injured somehow actually improves our OL. Kick back, relax and watch the Silver Britches cruise to victory on Saturday.

    Seriously though….

I didn’t watch the Kentucky game and I won’t spend any time on this one either. Call me when the bowl game is announced, though. It’ll be interesting to see what happens when we play Miami.

AU should be favored..but not by ten. Georgia isn’t quite as anemic as some think, and Auburn isn’t quite as good as many think. That makes it maybe a 6 point spread. But I think Georgia has a good chance.
There’s a little thing everyone seems to be missing…the coming of age of Eason.. Something happened to him in the 4th against KY. It’s called “Self Confidence” .IF iit carries over to Saturday, Georgia has a good chance to win…Also..I think Chubb is just now coming around from his ankle sprain. . Sony, Nauta, Wims…and Rodrigo with his Dawg Toe will be kicking it around. Auburn can’t assume Georgia has no kicking game..last week they could. And I’Mac, having gotten his mistakes out of the way, will be a big factor. A home game win will make this season look one hell of a lot better than it did a couple of weeks ago. I can see these Dawgs winning out and getting a mid level bowl game.

I Mac “getting his mistakes out of the way”……are you kidding me, He does that almost every game. I mean I love the kid , but he shouldn’t return a punt EVER again

If Pettway doesn’t play, and the Williams kid is not at LB, Auburn is in trouble in Athens. QB has a bad shoulder, and K Johnson, the other RB, has sprained his ankle again. This game is gonna be closer than the experts think.

Have not watched enough of Aubie to know if there defense is really good; if so, it’s going to a long day. I’m convinced we just can’t compete against a stout, sound D.
