I was dreading the day he’d be gone. And here it is.

He had so many great songs. As a lyricist, few could match him.

Georgia is the largest state East of the Mississippi. Very long drive to get home after the game for many fans. Even before the advent of ESPN noon games, our home kickoffs were normally in the 1:10 – 1:30 PM timeframe.

We ask for the early games and try to avoid the night games so fans can get home to Brunswick, Valdosta, Albany est

2016 keeps on truckin’ indeed. I don’t recall acknowledgement here of Glenn Frey’s passing in January. RIP my man-

  6. Aw shucks, for those of us that might have been under a rock, just please tell us what the “stated policy” is, or tell us where it’s stated.

Follow the link to the Who’s 1970 version. Before my time, but Townsend can flat play.. Great band. Thanks for a heads up into a deeper track than teenage wasteland.

  8. Great selection. Did I miss your blog on Cohen passing away? Or is he in the “the band that shall not be named but did have Bernie Ledon in it and does have Joe Walsh in it” category.

    • LC’s one of those artists I admired more than having an emotional attachment to their music.

      • Understood, especially the admiring part–just for his ability to write. Only two of his songs, Bird on a Wire and First We take Manhattan, then we take Berlin, do I have an emotional attachment to. First for just being a great song and second one cause it is so amusing.

You are getting very close, Alamosa, to being in having your mouth washed out with soap territory. 😎
Do tell Senator, why the intense hatred of the icons of 70’s rock?
