… without a little WKRP.
The punchline in and of itself justified the existence of the show. Hell, it may have justified the existence of television. It’s that great.
Enjoy your day with family, friends, whomever and be grateful for life’s blessings. They sure beat the alternative.
Perfection. Always perfection.

I also check in daily. Best UGA blog I’ve ever found. Thank you for your informative and entertaining posts.
Supposedly WKRP was based on old 94Q in Atlanta. I just remember how Loni Anderson looked to a sixth grader.
Enjoy the day gentlemen.

There was something about Bailey….and I wasn’t 12. Along with Taxi, WKRP were two of the better TV comedies.

Facebook had a video floating aroud with the story of 96Rock. Atlanta used to have a unique and good radio culture before the conglomerates bought every out. In my opinion the best I can pick up in the Atlanta area is 103.7.
Mark agreed, this is the best UGA blog further UGA has the best group of bloggers out of the SEC. Having family ties and playing a college pickem you don’t find many like Blutarsky, Bernie’s, Patrick Garbin etc for other programs.

I post this not to challenge or compete with WKRP, but as just another funny scene that is also a favorite of mine… and as SB headed another thread today with, “We’ve all been there”…so it is.

Many people don’t know that WKRP was based off of WQXI in Atlanta, and that the real station dropped frozen turkeys.

This along with Christmas Story are holiday staples. Absolutely love this episode. The news caster, with they attacked me, and the boss with, I thought turkeys could fly. A classic.
Have a great Thanksgiving all.
