“I always relate it to Chick-fil-A.”

After listening to Kirby Smart speak about quality control, I’m wondering — since he’s got recruiting running in its properly greased groove, is there any chance they could turn control of Sanford Stadium concessions management over to him?  It sure sounds like he’s got a better handle on what’s important about customer service than the folks running the show now do.

I found his point about roster management was every bit as important as his point about customer service. Each year, one glaring personnel weakness (usually along the line of scrimmage) would end the season early for us.

Great to see us aggressively managing both.

To your point regarding personnel issues, go look at the grades for Miami’s recruiting class, particularly the SBNation (State of the U) review. Some familiar themes regarding hits and misses.

      • Richt hasn’t learned a thing. He brought in only one DT, and the author at State of the U was puzzled by that and points out that now they will need a big haul at that position next year. Lots of mentions of guys being undersized or needing to put on weight. Their only RB is an injury-prone 3 star, and they are already thin at that position. As usual, lots of talent but holes everywhere.

He learned the most important thing – how to double your money for one year. With an assist from ADGM

Meh, I only go to chick fil a when they have peach milkshakes. If I eat fast food and there’s no Waffle House around, it’s Arby’s.

I do sincerely hope that y’all make some progress with Sanford though, it is bad that $40mil can’t be put to practical use….
