Musical palate cleanser, I don’t need no money edition

This is pretty cool… first half of this clip finds the Temptations laying down “My Girl” in the studio.  If you look carefully, you’ll see Smokey Robinson in the back, directing traffic.

Man, what a song.

Eat a Peach was released 45 years ago yesterday.

The older I get the more I like it.

    Senator,
If you ever get the chance go to the Grammy museum in downtown LA, not far from the Staples Center. Lots of great stuff like this clip. Last time I was there they had a large exhibit on Smokey Robinson and a whole floor on the Ramones. The major exhibits change all the time and they have permanent stuff on recording technology and musicians like the Wrecking Crew. Well worth the price of admission.
