SEC Madness

I approve of this troll.

The topper would be to open up with him and Danielson on camera.

Awesome! I wish they would do it.

I hate it that we suck, and will continue to suck under McGoof.

  2. 3 SEC Teams in the Elite 8 should mean more money as well as
    more prestige for the conference. Since I picked Ky. to win It all;
Go Cats. Dawgs ? Where Are You?.

The University of South Carolina should be seen as the ultimate embarrassment for the University of Georgia. The university is situated in a state that is basically the Mississippi of the east in terms of resources and has to compete with a big time P5 in-state rival in Clemson is continuously competing for championships in multiple sports and putting the same level of football product on the field as Georgia. Not meant as a shot at Kirby, even under the best Richt years SoCar went are for step with us.

Thank god for Herschel Walker or we would be Vandy.

You got that right. Without # 34 It would have been more than
the 20 years before the Dawgs (Under Richt) Won another SEC
Championship. I Also Totally Agree With Your Entire Comment.

    • Guess what? That year we won the national championship we needed a near miracle to beat South Carolina 13-10.

You manage to sound smug and pathetic at the same time. The state of SC ranks at or above many other SEC states including Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee,Kentucky, and Alabama in metrics like income and population. Clemson has always had a strong football program (I believe more championships than UGa so not really fair comparison) and SC is strong right now in most other sports (men and women’s bball, baseball, and other stuff I don’t watch). The only advantage UGa has is Atlanta and it is just as easy to travel to 5 other major programs.

We are talking UGA athletics, smug and pathetic is kind of what we do.

      • Um, the same number of national championships — 2, and the history of Georgia versus Clemson (and South Carolina) in football shows Georgia with a significant edge.

Congratulations to South Carolina for being a Final Four program.

Head Coach Frank Martin has the winning level of intensity and focus which, sadly, would never be tolerated by The Georgia Way.

I was surprised recently to see that Charleston was named the best city in America to live in..never would have thought it, but it’s been awhile since I visited.

Go SEC! We helped get those teams battle tested!

I look forward to Mark Fox being our coach until at least 2023.

Good to see the SEC athletic departments allocating part their media windfall back into their basketball programs and becoming competitive on a national stage, just like they are doing in Athe…

    Never mind.

Our reserve fund will be around long after this tournament is over. I’d say we’re the real winners. And most people who know anything about college sports would agree.

  9. We have become a Society of the Miserable as Georgia fans. Am I happy with the state of the athletic program as a whole? No, and there’s one person to be held responsible for that … the person who sits in the AD chair. We can complain about coaches, but until the people on South Campus have the same commitment to winning that the rank-and-file of alumni and fans has, nothing will change. These same people will make the next head coach selection in “name your sport,” and they’ll select the Georgia man with the tightest ties to the rich donors, the “hot assistant” looking for his/her first opportunity, or the mid-major coach looking for his/her break into the big time to save some money. Withholding your Hartman Fund contribution only hurts you as a supporter of the program. It doesn’t hurt the athletics program because of the money rolling in from other sources including the liquor barons and their ilk. It gives them more power and influence over the program not less.

Three SEC east teams made it to the sweet sixteen. Arkansas almost made it so we would have four. The competition in our division is like the west for football. Our team fought injuries at the end of the season. Not a fan of McGarity though. Our equestrian team did win the SEC this week. Florida loosing always makes me happy. Ready for football GO DAWGS!!

Thank God the equestrian team is winning or else I’d be afraid of what we’d really mean by beating dead horses.
