Assistant coaches are like beer.

You can never have enough of ’em.  Meet the latest addition to Smart’s staff:

Jamil Walker, a member of Wisconsin’s strength and conditioning staff since 2009, recently was hired by coach Kirby Smart at Georgia , joining the program during spring practices.

Walker’s title is assistant strength and condioning coach.

“He was unbelievable in the interview,” Smart said Tuesay. “He was the head strength coach for coach (Barry) Alvarez during the bowl season and did a tremendous job. He came very highly recommended and then during the interview he kind of blew us away. He’s very intelligent and was a very good football player.”

… Smart said head strength coach Scott Sinclair got some ideas from Walker to implement, which Smart said is “always great to get a change up for the group.”

Man, he’s barely here and is already happy talk material.  Dude’s got a future.

We’re going for stronger more agile linemen. We hired a guy who built bulldozers. So confusing….
