Today, in it just means more

I guess Florida hasn’t quite gotten over last years Hurricanegate with LSU.

Jesus, Gators.  Grow up.

Lightning is something you shouldn’t fuck around with.

Gotta admit Senator, that was pretty well played.

Agreed especially as LSU had a week to move the game they reference in the moved games situation as compared to UF who had under a week to make decide on their route with the hurricane.

Protecting fans/players from the immediate danger of lightning is not comparable to FU’s refusal to play the game on Sunday or Monday from a potential, past threat of a hurricane two days earlier and over 150 miles from the coast. This was a Florida screw-up, always was. LSU was flexible, and the event could have still been cancelled in the unlikely case emergency workers were needed. This wasn’t Katrina, and it wasn’t even close to a direct impact area. Florida should be ridiculed, LSU is right to be upset. The SEC office should have intervened, imo.

“Being a Gator” and “growing up” are mutually exclusive.
