“Last but certainly not least, Happy Mother’s Day!”

Greg McGarity wants you to know Butts-Mehre so can walk and chew gum at the same time.  So there.

And let’s hear it for the McGill Society ponying up more than $50 million towards improvements.  The reserve fund deeply appreciates y’all’s efforts.

I think his writer used too many exclamation points!

Also, I might add a comma or two.

But, other than that, I like it. I give it a B+.

    • “Substitute “damn” every time you’re inclined to write “very”; your editor will delete it and the writing will be just as it should be.” is the quote that comes to mind reading this…and every time a particular world leader speaks.

  2. The golf area renovations remind me of the first day I worked at the UGA driving range back in 1998. Wayne Saylors, a retired police officer, took me to the window overlooking the driving range and pointed to the grass that I was tasked to keep the golfers off of (it was being repaired).

He said “Pete, they’ll JACK you over if you let em'”

Best piece of advice I ever got.

  3. Ok I gotta admit, the rendering of what the Steg will look like is kinda cool. Still a bit of putting lipstick on a pig, but that’s a really nice shade of lipstick.
