This is just brutal… and the worst part is that it seems to keep going and going.
Do not despair, though.
“The responsibility to enhance our strengths and address our weaknesses lands on my desk,” McGarity told the gathering. “I know our program is not reaching its full potential. Our staff spends every day committed to moving our program forward, both collectively and sport by sport, and when we fall short of expectations, we are there to provide support, and when we win, we celebrate alongside each sport.
“Regardless of the outcome, we remain loyal and dedicated to fully supporting our student-athletes and our coaches…”
He’s on the mother. Regardless of the outcome.
Shorter McJughead: It’s ultimately my responsibility, by which I mean it’s someone else’s fault when UGA doesn’t win, because we are giving them plenty of tools.
I can’t wait to see an unshaven, raggedly dressed McGarity out in front of a UGA flag on the front lawn of BM, surrounded by BM staffers who’ve “volunteered” to support him, chanting “THEY WILL NOT DIVIDE US” into a webcam. Shia LaBeouf would be proud.

I’m pretty sure I already know what the outcome will be. Feel like I’ve seen this movie before

Has anybody calculated the support to celebrate ratio(failure to success) this year. It feels like it’s about 30 to 1.

The number of cleats hanging on the wire at Foley Field after yesterday’s Stricklin announcement should not be taken as a sign of support.
