’s preseason first and second team offensive players…

… as voted on by the league’s sports information directors.

When it comes to Georgia, I would say there are absolutely no surprises.

I know I’m biased, but Kamryn Pettway and Raph Webb over Sony Michel? Pfffffft. Yeah, right.

Not surprising since he is technically a back-up, or spot player at UGA. Pettway is a legit 2nd teamer but I doubt many think Webb is better college player, or NFL prospect, than Sony.

Look at the height/weight proportion of those OL picks. Dang, very enviable but we seem to be moving fast in that direction. I have complained for years that we had too much emphasis on weight and not enough on being athletic and proportionate on height/weight. We have had too many 5′ 11″-6′ 1″ guys who weighed 315, the new crop seems to be built more like the guys above….kudos.

Why did the paper include punters as offensive team players but not include place kickers as offensive team players?
