Jonathan Crompton is Beyond Crompton about Vol fans.

I live for the chance to write the occasional header like that.

  1. Bulldog Joe

And then UT went Beyond Crompton and hired the one DC Crompton was able to dominate.

I remember the morning of the game, we were calling him Jonathan “Incrompetent”. Then we played like we had never seen a QB roll out before and we found out who was really incompetent. Unprepared and had no adjustments.

You are not kidding, Crompton was outside our DE’s every time he left the pocket and had 2-3 viable options for first downs every single time. That was bad enough the first couple of times, but then it continued….and continued.

Looking down from the nosebloods that day I saw lots of chaos and turmoil when Willie had the defense on the sideline. He was totally clueless and Kiffin knew it.

What hath Willie Martinez wrought? The quarterback who administered one of the most humiliating beatdowns in my memory as a Bulldog is so hated by his own fans for failing in basically every other big game that he doesn’t even want to go back to Knoxville. We need to hire Willie Martinez so we can fire him again.

Every football player at every HS in the State of Georgia should be sent a copy of that linked article. Why does any good player who has other options ever go there?

  8. To be fair, I don’t really think we would be much better if our QB performed like he did.
