Today, in things I did not know

I have no idea what this means, but it sounds like fun.

The NCAA has rules against “camp blocking”?

Not sure Mumme, Orgeron, and/or camp blocking rate as “Huge news”. Only in the doldrums of the off season I suppose.

My mind wonders back to movies like Camp Beverly Hills and other spoofs on summer camps. Seems to me we’ve got to do our own spoof movie to capitalize on this.

Ed, this is not the way to hold down your state. This is a good way to get your ass posted out of Texas and adjoining states. Old Miss nor MSU looks favorably on you poaching their state along with Tenn and Mizzou. Intimidation of HS administrators isn’t a good way of reaching the hearts and souls of your in-state athletes when they think you have their favorite mentor by the balls.

You had better be looking over your shoulder at them Yankees instead of goading your neighboring states and your HS coaches. You don’t seem to appreciate that the tables can turn, especially with Mumme involved. Look where Hal has been, Ed, and compare your tenuous career path. You may be coaching a small school next year and he could get some much-needed publicity out of this to head for a larger job – like yours.

Meanwhile, in the state of Jawja the HS administrators and coaches would likely side with the out of state raiders since so many of them seem to be fans of the “invaders”. We can talk about putting a fence around the state all we want but the Barbarians aren’t just at the gate in our once fine state, they are inside the fence and running things/influencing folks. Might even be on the take.

They’re coming from inside the house!

There is always “that guy” it seems. Think you are trust them and “whoa, watch your six dude”. Indeed, there are some bad guys amongst those HS coaches pushing our lads down the wrong road. Kirby has many friends in that HS position but his dad doesn’t know all the younger guys wearing enemy bandannas and the wrong color ink.

Everyone should remember that Orgeron was an NCAA rules violation magnet… and still is. Had his issues at Ole Miss, Tennessee, USC. He’s a football coach and a football coach only. Can’t teach what you don’t know nuthin’ about (ethics, rules, etc.).

Well, at least this is something we don’t have to worry about at Georgia.

    We can’t block anything!

Is this as heinous as cock blocking? If so, Coach O has to go, he isn’t a good wing man.

I’m pretty sure camp blocking is just an autocorrect.
