It’s not hard to guess what Archie Manning is most impressed with by Jacob Eason.

That sounded like a lukewarm, political answer to me. Didn’t knock him, gave one example of something he did individually, but all other comments were about the group as a whole. I hope he is much better this season, much is riding on UGA winning the East. Eason has also worked with others since last January so he is making the effort, we really need his accuracy and decision making to take a big step forward in 2017.
Not a mention of ,”He can really sling it!”.
Is Archie saying Eason is a big, stiff quarterback or not?
Don’t think so, but he didn’t say anything that distinguishes him from any other QB that was there either. We all know Eason has a special gift with his arm strength, didn’t need Archie to verify that did we? I do wish he would have said he saw some improved footwork, or arm angle, or Peyton improved on his trajectory on long throws, etc. Seemed like a very non-committal, PC assessment to me. Can see why he may not have wanted to publicly say anything negative but I do hope he gave Kirby more specifics.
