The entire thing is getting nutty.

Demanding an apology from someone is like Rosie O’donnell demanding that you describe her as thin and attractive. The other party can capitulate and say whatever you want, but if there’s no meaning or sincerity to it, then what’s the point? (other than feeding your clearly fragile ego)

Mind you, I love how Nutt and his lawyer were able to bring down Ole Miss, but at the same time Nutt has acted very petty as well with this whole apology thing. He should take satisfaction in destroying Ole Miss, get some monetary damages for himself or a worthy cause, and sit back with a nice Whistle Pig Whiskey, smile, and call it a day.

I look forward to reading the passive tense rhetorical hair splitting in the apology.

It’s lose/lose for Ole Miss. even if they do apologize, reporters have the blood trail and will follow it to the end. The only thing they stand to save is Face, and let’s be honest, there’s not much of that left.

If Ole Miss gives an official apology, then they would admit guilt to Nutt’s allegations. Seems like an admission like that would get the AD fired since he would be complicit in the orchestration of smear campaign.
