Best bowl name?

Or best bowl name ever?

How would you feel about being on the announcing crew that had to repeat that name throughout the broadcast?

I never thought anything would surpass the “Poulon Weedeater Independence Bowl,” but here we are.

I was in redcoats when we went to the weed eater bowl and believe me, we couldn’t get over how crappy it was and how dumb the name was. It’s kind of like one of those merit badge type things, having been there built character. Shreveport is a dump (still), it was cold and damp and no culture to speak of because it’s pretty far north of the heart of Cajun land.

I was in junior high and went with my dad. Shreveport remains the worst city I’ve been to, and I went to Sarajevo only a couple of years after the war ended.

the theme song could be John Cena’s “Bad Man”

  3. Uglydawg

I’d shorten it to “Bad BM Gas Bowl”..

How about Big Ass Fan Bowl in Knoxville?

  5. Just Chuck (The Other One)

Just use the acronym: BBMGP. Might be difficult to pronounce, however.

Do you care how large the studio audience is for “Family Feud”? No? Then the viewers won’t care about this either.

It won’t be long before all sub-tier bowl games will be played in a film studio warehouse outside of Bristol, CT. The “fans” will be green-screened in as needed.

I heard that today on satellite radio and laughed our loud. I would protest on behalf of all the Florida fruit bowls past but then, I don’t want to lose the TV money that makes it possible for me to have CFB for like 20 straight days. But man, Tangerine Bowl was available as a name, amirite? Or surely prune wasn’t taken.

  8. Not having a clue to what Gasparilla was, had to look it up. Sure does tie in well with mowers.
