What more can you say about Godwin’s ridiculous TD catch?

Well, maybe this.

Seven years on and I still can’t believe we lost that game to Colorado.

That is so eerily similar! Even the reaction after the catch. Both absolutely amazing!

Going to see that catch on the scoreboard in Sanford for years to come, and I look forward to it.

  5. It was unbelievable to watch him make the catch and then see the idiotic SEC officials try to take it away. Thank goodness Al Ford wasn’t the replay official on Saturday night.

I say this every season, so it’s becoming cliche’. The Referees were blatantly biased towards ND. I’m not saying all the calls were bad, but there were enough non-calls for the Irish that I can’t help but think that is the case. I did not realize it was OK to shoestring tackle an outside linebacker trying to make a play, but what do I know?

And yes, It was a hell of a catch. I saw a team that wasn’t leaving that stadium without a win, I saw a team that didn’t quit, I saw a team rally around a rookie QB that might have started to rattle a little bit. I saw one of the D linemen go to him on the sideline and say “We got this”. And they did.

It also reminds me of Conley’s grab vs. UT in 2013.

Funny how these only happen on the road.

Fantastic catch right in front of us! And yes, just like AJ.

Jon Bible was the replay official and a member of my club in Austin. I’m pretty sure he heard me all the way from here at home that he’d damn well better call that a catch and it worked!
