The next chapter of Corch’s book writes itself.

Oklahoma whips Ohio State’s ass and this ensues afterwards.

One can only imagine the steam coming out of Urban Meyer’s ears.  Which is what probably led to this.

Damn, Baker, fun means never having to say you’re sorry.  Although this is a subtle touch.

Eh, kid, Corch could teach you a thing or two about what constitutes a big deal.

As always, though, gallows humor is the best humor.

“…will be forever in the mind of Urban Meyer and the Ohio State Buckeyes…”

Well, it couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy.

  3. Aladawg

Urban said”it was a bad deal. A really bad deal”. Remember Jacksonville my friend!

I wish Mayfield had planted that flag where the sun don’t shine. That way, the headline could have been, “OU Saw Meyer’s Season Plans and Rectum.”

Try the veal. I’ll show myself out now.

Not surprisingly, afterwards Herbstreit dropped Mayfield on his Heisman favorites list from #2 to #7. Speaking of which, it was clear Herbstreit was upset during this clip, as he just sat there saying “wow,” “surprising” and all the rest. Finally, I’ve heard that Kirk is a nice guy and all, but he’s such an unabashed OSU homer that he really shouldn’t be calling any games involving his beloved school.

Like them or hate them, guys like Jesse Palmer, Pollack, and others do a great job of staying neutral or objective, while Herbstreit openly cries and complains on the air after OSU loses a title game and such. I frankly don’t know how Chris Fowler puts up with him. Lastly, there was absolutely no need for Mayfield to apologize – clearly someone spoke to him about it, and he chose to go the PC route by apologizing to those he offended.

That’s such a ridiculous thing to say. The man can’t even live near Columbus because the fan base is so vicious toward him about his perceived negativity toward them on his part. Just goes to show you can’t make anyone happy as a commentator.

Herbie lit a fire a week ago when he was doing another game. he said after the OU/OSU promotional spot “I wonder what it made the OU fans a players feel like when OSU sang their fight song on the OU field. i bet that hurt.” he’s the biggest OSU homer. he shouldn’t call their games ever.

Good grief, let the kids have their fun. Does everything have to be taken so seriously? It’s college kids playing football and they’re placed between million dollar coaches and million dollar tv deals. The pressure on them to perform is immense. But ok, let’s over analyze intent and make it out that baker sought to manifest his strong belief that Ohio is now Oklahoma territory,

Suck it Urban. And you too THE Ohio State University.

  8. Tony

This is bad for @OhioStateFB on so many levels.

  9. Russ

That last tweet was the best. Hilarious!

  10. Man, It has been a good week.

Look up penis in the dictionary. There is a picture of Urban

  12. Why apologize? Tell the OSU fans and coach to grow a pair.

  13. Just Chuck (The Other One)

A coach with any class would point out, “They won the game on our field. They’re entitled to do anything they want.” My memory is that Right said something like that after a GT win. No one will ever accuse Urban of having class.

    This aggression will not stand…man

Can you imagine the chest pain he had seeing Mayfield plant that flag?

    • The Truth

But that pain will magically, miraculously go away once he decides he’s done as much damage as he can do in Columbus and goes to find the next $5 million check.

  16. Turd Ferguson

Isn’t it about time for Urban to start complaining about health issues again? Or about how much he misses his family? Or some other bullshit?
