Here’s another good question.

It sure would be nice for Georgia’s chances.   It would also be nice for Carter’s draft status.  Maybe he should look at the 2017 season as his year heading into free agency.  That seems to work for the pros.

Have said this since the January announcement, and included Bellamy. Together they are on a tear and have made themselves a lot of money. Also feel Roquan and Trent are doing the same but they have an option to stay another year. Serious blow if we lose all four at one time, but it seems likely. Enjoy them while we can.

This is where Smart’s recruiting prowess will be needed. I’m betting he’s already on this. “The Process” is to reload and never have holes. But he got Chubb and Sony to come back..and Lorenzo…maybe Roqun and Trent will continue the trend, What a wish!

Other than bama, is there any team in cfb with a better front 7 than Thompson, Atkins, Ledbetter, Bellamy, Carter, Smith & Patrick? And when you consider the depth behind the starters, it’s truly impressive. Rochester, Marshall, Walker and R. Carter would be starters at most schools.

I don’t even know if Bama has a better front 7, especially with the LBs they lost starting with the FSU game. But I think Bama is a more complete defense, and that Pruitt/Saban are better than Tucker/Smart. We knew we would have to ride this defense, at least for the first 6-7 games, and so far, they look as good as advertised. Only hole is in the secondary, and the Front 7 has masked that pretty well so far. Interesting to see what adjustments we make for Fitzgerald’s short pass accuracy.
