Not bad, but they should have subbed Sean Jones scoop and score for a 1968 tie (?). Reggie Davis’ drop is stil…..wow.

And I haven’t seen Andre Hastings’ fumble since 1992. I think if we had replay he would have been called down and we could have kicked a game winning fg.

Thank you for the warning. I can’t watch that, like I can’t watch a number of plays, it makes me sick to my stomach every time.

UT has the second best all time winning percentage in the SEC behind only Bama and also has the lead in the series with Georgia. This is always a tough game and this year will be no exception particularly since the game is in Knoxville. IMHO this will be the toughest game the Dawgs will play this year in the regular season. GATA!!!!

I really have no concern about this team staying focused and playing all out on Saturday. Others may have trouble keeping their feet on the ground after the big win last Saturday but not this one. Great Senior leadership on both sides of the ball, and a staff that won’t let them forget their goals have not been been achieved. Not saying this won’t be a fight because TN is desperate, and the crowd will be behind them, at least in the beginning. I think our guys have adequate motivation to match their intensity, and we have better talent. Dawgs will win this game.

Baseball challenge, increase by 10%? You have got to be kidding me. Stricklin should have been fired 2 years ago, he hasn’t scratched .500 in his tenure here, ridiculous

Geography dictates the rivalry intensity. Dalton, Cartersville, Calhoun, Rome, NW Georgia, has a large infestation of vawls because of I-75 giving easy access to Knoxville. That consistency includes, Columbus, Albany, SOWEGA to Auburn and Valdosta Brunswick Savannah, SE Georgia, etc…Living up here “on the top” in the mountains, most Dawgs love 10-r-c like as much about as getting a root canal at Walmart.

Can confirm. Leave in Cartersville (aka CVegas) and there is a ton of Vols fans and I can’t stand it. It is impossible to score too much in this game.

Those poor W/SW Ga folks. Nobody should have to endure living around an abundance of Auburn fans.

The star rating article from Knoxnews is a little misleading because to get the 2.6 secondary rating for Georgia they gave Aaron Davis a star rating of 0. Even though he was a walk on that is not a fair assessment of his ability leaving high school. If you assumed he was a 2 that brings the unit rank up to 3 which in turn brings the total defense average up to 3.75.

I look forward to a Vol beat down no matter the star rating on the field.

Yes and Davis, Reed and Bellamy – and going back Pollack and Thomas Davis – are proof that a program’s eye for talent and ability to convert that to production – is as important if not more so than how the recruitniks rank your class in Feb. not far behind is a low attrition rate on such signees – as several SEC programs are reknowned for big signing day hauls that soon lose numerous players to academic or character issues.

I’m pretty sure Aaron Davis was a high 3 star prior to his injury. Agreed, that article is bunk

Watching those clips from the 5th bullet point sure makes me glad our tackling has improved this year. They must have greased their backs every game with us. Pitiful. And please never show the hail Mary again ever. I’m pissed off for another 2 weeks now.

man, people can argue all they want about the NFL and taking a knee. I think they ought not, as the anthem and this nation is supposed to be about the idealized possibility, but I understand and support their right to do it.

Now, if a PUBLIC high is suggesting consequences meted out to students who participate in a protest, there are some SEVERE 1st Amendment implications here. I’m no lawyer, don’t pretend to be one, but I absolutely, utterly, support those high school students’ ability to speak without government censorship of their actions. The pundits of the right whose opinions I respect would all say to let them young men speak; i.e. Ken White, David French, Charles CW Cooke, Guy Benson, Ben Shapiro.

Senator, there any case law about this sort of thing or is this new ground?

At first I thought the “Russian political ad botnet” stuff was nonsense. Now I’m starting to believe they’re inserting bullet points here at GTP and it’s real.
