No, he’s not.

It’s no shame to be considered second to the greatest RB in the history of college football. Nick Chubb is a great player, but he’s also a great young man. He’s exactly the kind of person you want representing your school, and no matter how much longer he plays football, I suspect he’s going to have a successful life. But, I hope he plays football as long and as well as he wants, starting with Saturday’s payback in Nashville.

  2. Nick deserves every accolade he gets. He’s this team’s heart and soul and will be permanent captain. #DGD

If you look closely at that list at the end Sony will likely finish the season in the #5 spot with over 3,000 yards career too. That means Georgia will have had the #2 and #5 top rushers in school history on the same team for 4 years (albeit sometimes injured). How did the Dawgs not win a nattie or at least a conference championship with that combo? Maybe this is the year.

Great tribute to a great young man. Chubb is a special person, beyond just his talent on the field. Character and heart will carry him far in life, regardless of football.

I may shed a tear or two on senior day this year. Nick Chubb and Sony Michel are great, athletic talents…two of the best ever to play at UGA…but beyond that, as mentioned earlier in comments, both are high-quality individuals. The fact that both of them came back for their senior year just makes me even more proud to say they are part of the UGA family.

There’s still some work for them to do, but no matter what happens the rest of the season, both have earned their way into my all-time favorites.

  6. Man, I love that kid…I didn’t really realize how much until I was pummeled by sadness when he got hurt. Life is short and I wish him all the best in life. He deserves it.

  7. Question to discuss … Will Nick Chubb eventually be enshrined in the CFB HOF?

I vote yes especially if he gets close to the 5,000 yard barrier.

I would like to add another important thought….If Nick’s mom and dad read this, or any family/friends from Chubb Town, you all sent a fine Christian boy out into the world, and we in Athens, who love and support our alma mater, have had the chance to watch him grow into a fine young man!
Thank you all and Go Dawgs!

Man, that video was a trip through some great, great memories, starting with this time about 3 years ago in Missouri. Glad we hitched our wagon to that young man. He’s a DGD for life!

The most amazing part of this is what it it does not show – the incredible amount of work that took place between the 3:01 and the 3:02 mark.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of this highlight reel.

Had the exact same thought when I watched it, Joe. A second on this highlight reel must have felt like a lifetime sometimes to #27.

I’m still blown away by Knowshon’s production in only 2 seasons.
