A tale of two trick plays…
Tennessee called a flea flicker against ‘Bama. One problem.
Meanwhile, Purdue ran a fake flea flicker, which is a fake… oh, never mind. It kicked major ass.
Is this a metaphor for UT firing Booch and hiring Brohm? Should it be?
Hopefully Booch wins out and stays a few more years

They are a well coached well disciplined team. Why would they want to fire Booch?

You bet. You could tell by the way the WRs held their place at the line on a pass play. That not only takes discipline, but a plastic trashcan load of guts to boot. Ntw, the energy taken for the brain synapses on that play couldn’t light a firefly’s ass.

Anyone can run a flea flicker where the receivers run patterns. Just imagine how much time UT spent during the bye week practicing the play. Their execution was flawless. Butch is a dead man walking.

The fake one fits right into our repertoire.

Yes it does and given that we already have a run a flea flicker with Chubb as the back. Lineup with Chubb as the back, fake the flea flicker and it might be a TD.

Can’t believe they went into the shotgun when they were inside of Bama’s one. They had 2 downs to make it….was just shaking my head. Then they had the 5 yard penalty. Think it is safe to say, they will clean house ….will more than likely wait until the end of the season.

They did the same thing against UF. I texted a vol friend and asked if they actually had a play under center.

Booch said they were on the right track because they were improving. Wonder whose video he is watching?

I’ve watched football a long time and maybe it just didn’t stick at the time, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a flea flicker where no receivers went downfield.

Tennessee is a group of well-coached Champions of Life with five star hearts. There is no reason to fire the person responsible for this. Keep Butch.

The fake ff was a thing of beauty. Chubb (DGD) would that that to the house.
