Yeah, that’s a shame.

Nice streak, Vols.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

    Wow!

I remember how arrogant those asses were in the late 1990s. It would be lovely if the fattest slobs in the SEC East suffered that!

Butch just needs a few more years to lay more bricks. UT people should have a little patience.

  3. How far the Vols have fallen! This program is a shell of what it once was. I hate it for my many friends who are Tennessee alumni. For the rest of them, I hope you are enjoying the wilderness.

Since there’s little doubt Booch will be out as head coach at the end of this season (if not sooner), we may as well pull for Tennessee to have a season of epic failure at this point.

Tennessee’s dumpster fire is full of tires, smoldering and burning deep for a long time. Florida’s dumpster was full of oil rags and broken pallets. It flamed up bright and hot.

    I’m enjoying both of them.

Fuck em both, I hope the stink from the rotting corpses of their programs causes the EPA to issue a bad air alert.

  8. It baffles me that they are (seemingly) seriously considering hiring somebody in the neighborhood of $10m per year who (a) hasn’t coached PERIOD in 10 years and (b) hasn’t coached college since, what, the Mid-90’s ?

It stinks that we couldn’t have the Gators hang on to Mac for a few more seasons, but I fully expect them to use their brains and be right back in the thick of things soon, unfortunately. If Tennessee hires Jon Gruden, I think it ends up being a total disaster.

  10. Other than $10m per year, why in the world would Jon Gruden go to Tennessee? He has probably the best gig in sports for a color guy. The WWL pays him well for a game a week in the fall and in the lead up to the NFL draft. I’ll believe it when I see it.

No SEC teams, but at the end of the season Tennessee will still hold bragging rights over Indiana State, UMass, Southern Miss, and Georgia Tech.

    Which is nice.
