Sony may be the most under appreciated RB to ever play for the Dawgs. He has been such a pleasure to watch the last 4 years. I hope he makes a damn fortune in the NFL! DGD!!

Assuming he stays healthy, he will. The guy has played in the shadow of 2 of the best ever at #RBU. Definitely under appreciated, but he is loved by Dawg Nation.

Agree 100%. Plus he always has a smile. Thanks for all the good memories.

I feel pretty sure that he will. He may even get drafted higher than Chubb, because of his work in the passing game (not that Chubb can’t/doesn’t, but Sony has had more of a chance to show it).
Looking at Alvin Kamara in NO, I don’t see why Sony can’t replicate that kind of role.

My only “issue” is the GOAT emoji. Seems like Gurley would’t be any better than 2nd on a list of UGA RBs. Not his fault, but the bar’s been set pretty high.

Absolutely. It’s funny, though: when he left I think you could say Gurley was arguably the second-best RB in school history. (Since everybody will forever be playing for second place, maybe the GOAT emoji is OK as a stand-in for Greatest RB of Our Era?)
But now, there’s a good chance he finishes third in career rushing yards among players on the 2014 team. It is unreal what Chubb and Michel have accomplished given all that’s happened.

I took that as a Ram, the team he plays for.

Planning on seeing Nick and Sony run all over the Nats this week to keep our undefeated record this millennia on North Avenue intact – “We Run This State!”
