Until three weeks ago I was living in Reno, Nevada. Relocating for work, haven’t even got my stuff packed and out of Reno yet lol. But I’m in MD now, Baltimore Area.

Meh, it’s been down in the teens this week and everyone is complaining about how cold it is but it feels normal for me for this time of year having spent the last three years in Northern NV. It gets way colder in Reno than most people realize.

You may see snow at 3000′ or less on nearby mts (and especially on Big Bear) while it’s in the 70s below. What’s not to like going from a small tan to downhill skiing inside 1 1/2 hours and cross-country skiing in less time than that? You can always catch a tan while headed out into the ocean and whale-watching or fishing by going one hour in the opposite direction.

Just saw the Rivals article about top Freshmen and Fromme came in 3rd. #1 and #2 were RBs and Swift wasn’t one. One of the RBs was behind Swift in ratings when he went to Wisconsin and one can plainly see that Swift would have made it a duo from UGA in the top three if not for Chubb and Michel as his running mates.
Returning players will form the skeleton to attach this new class in making for a Sophomore – and Freshman – dominated team filled with the glue of returning “oldsters” like Ledbetter. Ho Lee Crap!, with early registration, next year’s team could start practicing in groups in two weeks. Damn!. Got drool all over the keyboard.

Left Maine and -16 degree temps yesterday to arrive in Pasadena to 75 degrees. How sweet! Got lots of Go Dawgs at JFK airport and many on Pasadena streets. Pumped up doesn’t describe it!

I am green with envy towards all you traveling Dawgs today. The wife and I are leaving next week on a long planned trip and can’t get this one in, too. Grrrrr. Rose Bowl has always been a dream trip, never imagining that our Dawgs would get this chance. So, I’m living vicariously through all of you this weekend. Please, do everything I would do…if you brought your wife, never mind that last part.

Ah the joy, just for fun one of our pilots got sick and we had to land in Dallas, then find a replacement, so we stayed on the plane for an hour and half and then headed on to LAX.
