“I think it’s more exciting.”

Nick Saban, I don’t know you anymore.

I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t heard him say it.  I think my world has been rocked a little.

  1. He only says it because it benefits him. If it didn’t, he would be talking about how all of this is bad for player safety like he was with the HUNH. All of this crap about the genius of the QB change is getting old. He had no other answers … it was desperation.

Exactly EE.. He had to use his hat rabbit or get his ass whipped. I say it was a very good/ ballsy move on his part, the guy ain’t no dummy. But ……..
If a couple of very questionable calls/ non calls by the officials don’t fall Bama’s way, and some blown coverage on our end, we are looking at a big old trophy sitting in the middle of BM right now.
Damn! We were so close …….

And, don’t forget we let the game remain in reach by attempting to run the clock out the entire 2nd half. Don’t disagree about the 2-3 calls that changed the game, but even with those they had to go to OT to win. We went into our shell, just like OU did in the Rose Bowl. How could we forget the lesson of that Sooner screw-up in just one week?

Point taken, and offensively we played not to lose in the second half. But IMO Bama was on the ropes when the punt was blocked. The zebras let them get their breath.

Don’t argue that a bit, that one invented call was a difference maker. (Don’t buy the Bama motion, it was never called so is irrelevant. Had they made that call, the play would never have begun.) But we could have taken out of their hands had we just stayed on it a few minutes longer.
