Yeah, and with 247 giving the nod to Walker’s flip to us from ‘Bama, it could be the best day ever for us in the foreseeable future. If Bush signs…..

We always thought this sort of thing was possible. To see it come to fruition on the field and in recruiting is just surreal.

I’ve always wanted to see a Georgia team that just seal clubbed the elite programs in the country. Like Nebraska did to UF in 1995 or what Bama did to ND or to us in 2008 and 2015. I think those days are coming.

This is an historic, best class in the entire history of CFB according to rivals. Looking at all three recruiting sites, UGA has TEN 5 star signees. And looking at rivals’ class rankings, UGA has as many 5 star signees as classes ranked #2-5…combined. Or, to look at it another way, there are ten 5 star signees at SEC programs…eight of which are signed at UGA. Insane. And for our 4 star commits, roughly 1/3 of them are in the very high 4 star/borderline 5 star category, with the rest ranked quite high as well.

    Georgia:
    7 of the Top 25
    8 of the Top 33
    10 of the Top 42
    12 of the Top 100
    18 of the Top 200

    Alabama:
    2 of the Top 70
    3 of the Top 100
    9 of the Top 200

That gap is like the Pacific Ocean. Everyone tried to say that Top 10 classes are impressive and you should win titles with that. BS! A No. 1 class is miles ahead of No. 6 class. Miles!!

Alabama is recruiting like CMR and we’re recruiting better than anyone ever has.

Remember 2019 was supposed to be the big year for in state talent.

And not just Alabama…look at UF’s UT’s, and SCU’s class. The gap is so wide that not even Ray Goff roaming the sidelines could possibly mess this up in the coming years.

The narrative on Kirby will shift from, “Can success come fast enough,” to, “Could it be that success came too fast?” This program now has a spotlight on it that it’s never had before, and Kirby is absolutely making the most of it – but that sort of attention comes with a price. Kirby certainly knows how to handle it. We’ll see if everyone else outside the football program knows how to.

Sleepovers with Harbaugh must not be as fun as sleepovers in Athens.

I can verify part of that, don’t need to test the other part to know I wouldn’t like it. 🙂 Never underestimate the power of our Athens wimmin to influence a recruit our way.

By my count that’s 26 with Bush.

What’s the real number we can sign? Don’t want to be greedy, but are we done yet?

  16. And, so much for that dickhead Harbaugh coming down here to GA camps with his patronizing Braves/Hank Aaaron jersey.
