I have this up presently on one of my monitors here at the office. Yes, Virginia, it was that kind of season.

The reason you always go every year – just in case one of these games breaks out.

Did you know…that if you do 23 min on an elliptical and watch this game while doing so…and fast forward thru the commercials…it’ll be 21-0 right about the time you finish.
    Try it. I dare you.
    You’re welcome. Go Dawgs!
It also helps to have a DVR loaded and a TV in front of the elliptical.

Now we need to repeat it for the next decade.

Still love the fact that the Gator couple in front of me left in the 1st Quarter after we went up 21-0. They knew it wasn’t going to get any better for them.

It’s worth re-watching for years to come. And yet, I hope to replace it…with the epic beatdowns of next year, the year after, and the year after that.

The 1st 3 QTRS of this game is one of the biggest ass kickings I can remember.

He must not remember the 2017 UGA-Tenn game.

Funny you should mention that, Tybee. I just watched the UF replay (Which I had not seen) and I will watch the UT replay tomorrow. I’ll let you know what i come up with, but I think you are right. I remember UT being a serious ass whipping as well.

Oh my goodness, Tn game was over in the first play from scrimmage. I had just told a guy a work with “I think Georgia will win because I just don’t know how the urnge can score”. Best armchair analysis I’ve ever done.

Tybee is correct. The Ut ass kicking was bigger than the UF ass kicking, made sweeter by Booch’s debt to the devil coming due and an innocent, undeserving trashcan vandalized with orange paint.

I really wish Mac would have just kept his mouth shut about death threats. It would have been interesting to see what they did with him. It’d be really hard to fire a coach who won the division his first two seasons after one bad year. He gave them an easy out.

Makes me wonder if his death theats were the equivalent of Urban’s chest pains–basically an excuse to leave

That, and if Butch had just done a touch better. I would have loved for them to squeak out a 7-5 season with maybe a drubbing of Vanderbilt and Kentucky at the end… just enough to give him 1 more year.

If we had only had 1 more year of those two, we would have sent both of their football programs into the dark ages.

A blind squirrel occasionally may find an acorn but it will get hit every time it tries to cross an interstate.

Just re-watched the game. If we had kept the same offensive philosophy in the 4th QTR that we used in the first 3 QTRs…using the 2nd and 3rd teams (with tempo), we easily could have hung 60 on them…maybe more.

We made the mistake of not leaving our tailgate early enough and by the time we actually stumbled into the stadium in the 1st quarter it was already 14-0. I wasn’t complaining though. At the end, I just kept telling my fiance (also an alum) to soak it in. I didn’t want to leave the stadium. It was too sweet. I live in Jax so this game is like Christmas for me.
