Commit to the pass system

Ummm… this doesn’t sound promising.

A pass system, combined with the hope that fans sit in an assigned section?  This is Sanford Stadium we’re talking about, right?

Wow.  I admire the UGAAA’s sense of optimism.

UPDATE:  More G-Day info here.

Parking

Parking for the 2018 G-Day game is the same as previous years.  Parking is available all over campus on a first come-first served basis.  There are no other Georgia athletic events scheduled for April 21st, so all lots are open.

At least you won’t need a pass for that.

This will discourage many. Parking permits next?

Gates open at 1:00, with events starting at 1:15?? Yep, sounds like this will work out just fine…

Translation: Some big donors asked that we give them a way to get into the lower sections without having to show up early.

I have no desire for a pass to sit in section 600.

Rest assured, you will be able to sit in our beautiful 600-level seating area regardless of the pass you hold.

Rest assured, we are already in front of the enforcement issue as our lettermen will be deploying the same two-deep zone commemorative pass coverage Georgia is famous for.

When confronted with the misuse of a commemorative pass, we have instructed them to first ‘knock it down’, then confiscate it.

And this is yet another Bulldog Point of Pride!

Let’s be honest, a spring game is the worst event in sports. It may be fun to sell out the stadium for recruits but the event is boring as hell.

Of course it will be an over-capacity crowd. It was two years ago and the early worm got the worm and the late comers were turned away; it went just fine. Now dummy McDoofus steps in and makes a fun event lousy. Way to drive fans away Mr. Peter Principle.

Sadly looks like I will be missing my second G-day in three years. I go for an enjoyable spring day in Athens. Not to fight crowds to watch a scrimmage.

Wonder what a commemorative pass will go for on StubHub?
