Musical palate cleanser, go ahead and shake it edition

This one popped up on my drive into work this morning and I thought I’d share.

From one 0f my favorite Dwight Yoakam albums, the 1993 release This Time, here’s Dwight channelling his inner Rolling Stones, with “Wild Ride”.

Sirius/XM now has the channel “Dwight Yoakam and The Bakersfield Beat” up and running, featuring Dwight’s music and other artists curated by Dwight. Yoakam is second only to Prince in my little world of music fandom. Great track today Senator, thanks!

On a similar ‘discovery’ note, I recently stumbled across “Free Shoes Nation” radio, which is the Kenny Chesney station on Sirius/XM. I’ve never been a big fan of his, but I do like his station.

  2. Just listened to his version of Dim Lights, Thick Smoke, and like it, just not as much as the NRPS version.
