“That, of course, is a judgment call, and the judgment call involves, how much dirty laundry do we want to hang out in the public?”

As a Georgia blogger pondering the spectacle of a meteor lawsuit, all I can say is hang it out there, baby.  All of it.

UT is having to eat a lot of dough for buyouts. The simple solution is not pay the full amount of the buyout to the 2 assistants in question and put the onus on THEM to file suit in USDC Knoxville to enforce the buyout. Could get really smelly.

      NIce encore there, Mayor.
We should be able to overpower the smell by popping a lot of popcorn.
Tennessee may be close to providing us with even more entertainment.

UT has a better case against Butch Jones and the $35K he is getting at Alabama, but I suspect their legal team is still busy cleaning up the mess from the coaching search.

Except that you can’t expect SEC Head Coaches pay for the trivial job Booch has taken at Alabama. Tennessee is stupid for promising all of this and now wants to avoid the consequences of that stupidity.

I can imagine my grandkids one day asking me why we all wore so much red and black. It might be hard to explain.

Suing former coaches so you don’t have to pay them their buyout money is a great look for attracting quality assistants, I imagine.

The real crime here is that John Currie walks away with $2.5 million in buyout money after the whole coaching search fiasco.
