NCAA has no problem with u graduating high school in December, enrolling in January as a frosh but it thinks u need an entire year AFTER u've begun college to "adjust" to your new school. Rrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiight.

“And Georgia fans, don’t be turds. Enjoy this. Soak it up. It’s awesome. If you don’t win this year, it’s still not a failure. It’s a heck of a run. Back-to-back in the Playoff era hasn’t been done. So, to ask for a third I feel like it’s gluttonous. I feel like it’s not OK. But we’ll be in the mix.”-- David Pollack, On3.com, 5/9/23
The NCAA and coaches should just be honest. It should admit that the rational for the transfer rule is that the coaches want to make recruiting decisions easier (do we need immediate help at nickle back, or is Gaskilldawg staying?) and they wish to be able to control players.
At least the coaches and NCAA would not be saying stupid stuff.

It doesn’t seem to be a problem for kids in sports like tennis where you can transfer with immediate eligibility.

Ncaa is an effing train off the rails..expand coaching to 10 but hold back kids from pursuing their dreams for one year. And what is their true answer/reason/logic again?
