… but Lamont Gaillard is still here.
Best returning center in the SEC resides in Athens, Georgia. Watch Lamont Galliard get square when he arrives at the 2nd level & then finish 15 yards downfield. pic.twitter.com/FB1IP0O5HT

Whew that’s pretty to watch. But he does get a little jersey stretch on that LB’s right shoulder. Is that gray area since his hands were primarily inside?

Shhh! Everyone on this blog knows the holding calls they don’t call any more are only when we’re the ones being held.

Can anyone else remember a year when we were so giddily looking forward to watching our O-Line take the field? These are strange times indeed.

Closest I remember was 2011. “The heaviest line in football” or something like that.

Heaviest line that couldn’t move worth a shit…

Seems like both lines got shredded in the opener. That was one of the worst UGA games I ever watched. In those jacked-up power ranger uniforms, too.

Dude surprised me…& I’m sure a few others. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think he would turn out to be as good as he has (center). He looks promising at the next level.

I don’t give a crap about the next level, except to say I wish all former Bulldogs the best, well… except for Boom.

That clip is a thing of beauty. Soul crushing blocking. Warms my black heart.

Is Gaillard as the best returning SEC center a widely held opinion? With regard to his grades from last season that is?

Now THAT’S smashmouth football!
And the second best center in the conference might be Gaillard’s backup.

Do you remember the Seinfeld where Kramer brings the tape of the gymnast that Jerry is going out with, puts it in the ~~DVD Player~~ so he can see all of her moves. That vid reminds me of that.

Looks like Charlie Warner makes an excellent tackle on the linebacker too 🙂

While I’m excited with the O-line and Gaillard’s return, I can’t help not forgetting what a prime D-lineman did to him in the championship game. Daron Payne owned him. I hope we are better where we can hold our own against elite D-lines. If we are successful and get to the big dance we could easily meet up with Clmmons and their elite D-line.

Violent. Our OL looked violent coming off the LOS.
They flat knocked them back.
