“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
I hope the Vols have another 0-8 season in 2018 – they’ll look good with the pair.

Maybe not the absolute worst, spread-wise, but in terms of sheer misery…
1) on a Hail Mary
2) 41-0
3) stopped in the red zone as time expired
4) 45-7
5) threw a Hail Mary that stopped short of the goal line
6) 50-17
7) by 20 in a driving rain in an empty home stadium
8) by 18 to Vanderbilt
Don’t think you can top that.

I’ve started listening to the espnU channel on Sirius again. Today, neuheisel was king of dumbfounded by some press conference out of Pruitt. Something like “he’s been great at FSU, Alabama, and Georgia, but I’m not sure he gets it yet”.

A former Georgia player who has some knowledge thinks Pruitt will be a failure as a head coach. He says he is a great DC but he doesn’t have the skill set to be the head coach, too many things to keep up with for him to handle. He said he has a HS head coach mentality and probably won’t be able to negotiate the minefield of being the man overseeing all the egos on a college staff and know how to work with the AD and the university admin.

Pruitt is Boom 2.0

Pruitt will not be as successful as Boom. Boom has an 11 win season and a Sugar Bowl appearance. Muschamp also hired a staff that was better at recruiting.

Muschamp also inherited more talent at UF and USCe

If we could only get Grantham, Pruitt and Boom on a field at the same time…

If Boom keeps talking to the press, he could be the next to enter the Saban re education camp, 2 more to go.

So many things to love about last year. Georgia’s absolute drumming of UF and UT are two of the best!

When you schedule a game like this, you should be pleased if they even send a broadcast team with cameras. Having one of the biggest mismatches on opening weekend is sooo McDoofus, what a game after waiting so long. Be glad you are able to mute it and listen to the radio broadcast team. Put on a bottom of the barrel match up, you aren’t going to get their best. She cannot be as off as Tubbs was last year against Appy when he said Fromm knew very little of the playbook. Nice homework fail Tubbs!
