Easily my favorite thing about Seth Emerson’s “The top 10 events behind Georgia’s ascent to a national power” ($$) is that he manages a comprehensive look at who and what have led Georgia’s rise in the past three seasons without a single reference to Greg McGarity.
Basically all of those events have transpired entirely without McGarity, and in many cases against his wishes.

We get it. You hate Greg McGarrity.

Is there a more overwrought, overused word in contemporary English than “hate”?
Thanks for the whine, Bill.

Yes there is a more overwrought, etc. word: amazing. It should be taken out and shot.

Attacking our AD is a little much after GM’s background calls for us awarding him a couple of personal devices Let’s see, GM came as AD in 2010. He was the Asst. AD at FU when Corch was dealing with Zach Smith, Hernandez, Rainey, etc, wasn’t he?
We should buy him glasses and a hearing aid.

If you are linking to a list on a paywall site, can you at least quote the headers of the 10 things so the rest of us can discuss it here?
Thanks!

I’m not really keen on giving away by going into depth about what’s written at a pay site, so rather than do that, I’ll simply list the parties that Seth cites as being influential in Georgia’s recent rise: UGA powerbrokers, Jake Fromm, Kirby Smart, Roquan Smith, the group of Chubb, Sony Michel, Lorenzo Carter and Davin Bellamy, Rodrigo Blankenship, the assistant staff, Jeremy Pruitt, Mark Richt and Mike Bobo.
In other words, it’s not like Seth was being stingy with giving credit.
