    I think the committee did what was expected of them. They gave CUM token punishment and covered it with a deliberately confusing report. It left him to carry on with his crap.

    Herbie a homer? To hell you say. Seriously, though this is the guy that had to walk off the set last year when it was announced Bama would be headed to the CFP rather than Corch. Even though I knew at the time that decision by the committee may cost us the NC, I still enjoyed every minute of it.

      That was much exact thought upon reading Herbie’s comments. He’s reading from the same script politicians have used since the beginning of time whenever someone from their own party gets accused of corruption. I’m troubled by some of his statements, but I know he’s a good man, glad we can move on from this distraction, blah blah fucking blah.

    Anybody see the SDS article today discussing how CUM may have violated Ohio open records laws by deleting all those year+ old text messages? If true, they have cause to fire and not owe him a penny. Or watch him be prosecuted. Ether way, this thing ain’t over yet.

    Yall forget that Kirk had been kicked to the cUrb after he scolded Tressel. Had to leave town, I understand. A fellow trying to get back in the good graces of the alums and the local citizenry couldn’t very well be un-nice to Urb, especially if he has to show up there for GameDay.

    I did read where ZS, while on a recruiting trip to Florida went to a strip club and had some HS coaches in tow..(hopefully no recruits). He ran up a pretty heavy tab. If TOSU Athletic Dept picked up that tab, or reimbursed ZS for it, it’s a recruiting violation. At least one of the Columbus papers is not rolling over reporting this stuff.
