“And Georgia fans, don’t be turds. Enjoy this. Soak it up. It’s awesome. If you don’t win this year, it’s still not a failure. It’s a heck of a run. Back-to-back in the Playoff era hasn’t been done. So, to ask for a third I feel like it’s gluttonous. I feel like it’s not OK. But we’ll be in the mix.”-- David Pollack, On3.com, 5/9/23

I never thought I’d say this, but I think I prefer her over Steve Levy and Brian Griese.

I have to agree. Griese was insufferable the other day. He was nearly in tears on Missouri’s behalf a few times and his cheap shot at Fromm was Busch league. No wonder he’s on the F team of broadcasters.

The whole broadcast was atrocious. They talked about everything but the actual game at hand. And I don’t know WTF McShay was supposed to be doing. It certainly wasn’t sideline reporting. He never gave a single injury update and spent the better part of the second half on the stupid crane stunt. It’s like ESPN is just trying to entertain the casual viewer and to hell with actually giving pertinent information to fans of the teams playing. I will give Griese props though for his comment that the officiating crew needs to toughen up after the ticky-tack calls for roughing Locke and Mays’ unsportsmanlike penalty.

Biggest home game of the first half of the season. Makes sense.

UK at ATM. If The Cats win this one we’ll know they are at least a challenger.

Clemson was lucky to get out of College Station with a W.

If it proves the East isn’t the low Dawg division, that would be a good thing. I’m cheering for Ken – hard.

Arkansas would like to level the playing field between the 2 divisions. The North Texas game was their best supporting argument.

East is 1-0 right now.

UK is 4-0 and just beat a ranked Western division opponent, handily. Why do they need to go on the road and beat one of the better teams in the West in one of the harder places to play for us to know they’re a challenger? Clemson barely came out of there with a win, and they’re a top 4 team.

Kentucky is a scary game, considering our current rushing defense and their offensive strength being the run. Cold, night game in Lexington between Florida and Auburn and we are already walking wouned and full of ourselves. LSU is going to pound the rock like nobody’s business and so will Florida. If we drop anything before them and Kentucky wins the head to head…

Lexington is almost always hard.
Their lack of depth tends to show by November.

I want Kentucky to lose one soon. I want to see us clinch the division before JAX.

Hmm. Could one get from Mercedes Benz Stadium at 5:30 to Sanford Stadium by 7 or 7:30 for the ATL UTD/UGA double-header?

Might as well try

If you leave at 1730 and jump out at Sanford, leaving the car running on the street; sure.

I-20 to GA 138 to US 78 to GA 316 to the 10-Loop. Have your parking space reserved in both places. Godspeed.

Once I drove from Atlanta into Athens arriving 20 minutes before a night game and still caught the kickoff. Now, I was got dropped off by the wife, but the traffic on the highways had died down completely. You can do it!

Not if you plan to stay for the full UTD game

And why would one do that with the Dawgs scheduled more than 3 hours ahead? With almost two weeks, can be in Athens all day, then allow 30 seconds after the UGA game to catch up on all the scoring highlights in a soccer game. 🙂 I know, I know…Get off my lawn!

I misread the comment … didn’t realize the game was earlier in the day. My bad.
