Here’s a breakdown by distance of Felipe Franks’ passing work so far this season:

Two things there… he’s not much going deep and Georgia’s ILBs better have their pass coverage game on, because they’re about to be inundated with short and underneath stuff.

Defensive line has been pretty good at batting the short pass attempt this year. Get in his face with your arms up..but Franks isn’t going to be intimidated (he’s a tough guy) and he’s playing much better than he was at the beginning of the year.

    56% 9 yards or less
    44% 10 yards or more…
    Inundated a little too strong

The short, underneath stuff is going to kill us again if Kirby doesn’t fix it. LSU killed us with it.

Imagine what a linebacker Holyfield would make.
    I think he’d rival Roquan.
He’s got passion, strength and speed.
But that was just a dream that I had.
(Thinking ahead to the GT game and what R did to their offense)

That would be a next level project if someone wanted to take it on, we seem to have a need of our own in a position he looks very capable of fulfilling (if Chaney ever decides to give him another carry.)

He could be a two way player. All he has to do from the ILB position is yell at the QB “Lay down or I will come for you” and the play will be over.
