A play that Corch would like to forget

Watch the attempted tackle of the smallish receiver about halfway through this clip:

Need to work on that macho fling down move, brah.  Weak.

That play kind of said it all about OSU’s game.
The receiver was supposed to fold because he is small and shouldn’t be this far down field anyway. But the kid is skilled AND determined. His great effort negated the “better” OSU players. Happened all night long.
(I hope the Dawgs can “out-determine” the Gators on Saturday)

Is Willie Martinez on the Buckeyes staff? I’ve never seen worse tackling effort.

Bill Connelly noted that after Urbz punted on a 4th and 1 at his 29, start of the 4th quarter, down 21-6, his defense basically folded on him.

Hopefully the quit persists another game or two, and then they decide to make up for it by blasting Michgan – leaving the B10 out of the playoff.

    Pleeeeeease let this happen.

According to Kirby Smart this is the big key for the Dawgs this week.
    Tackling.
    Man enough to tackle.
UF was able to do that against LSU.
Coach Smart has represented his defense has not seen the reps to get big on tackle and to tackle.
Bet Coach Smart would watch that OSU clip and said that was his defense against LSU.
Think not, go back and watch some of that game.
But then again several of his players were not in position to tackle.
Two weeks, 40 hours to prep.
Word in Florida is the Gators are confident they can move up ahead of UGA in the polls this week.

Man, I was thinking the same thing. He needs to have that clip on repeat in the weight room, among ours from the LSU game.

One foot from the sideline, no less. This play cause me to joyfully pour another deadly one-too-many Knob Creek.

Sunday was rough, but I guess mine was better than Urb’s.

Ole Miss also did a poor job of tackling Saturday.

#1 Knox is from Georgia. Moore was offered by Kirby. #1 is a 5th year Sr. and not sure we offered him in 2014.

Totally inappropriate. I love it !
BTW- Another great bonus, in addition to watching corch, was listening to Kirbstreet trying to keep from crying. Probably the most fun I’ve ever had watching the big 10.

Listening to Kirk sputter about how “something bigger” was happening was pure joy. I know I’m not supposed to enjoy other people’s pain but listening to Herbie and watching Corch on the sideline was probably the most fun I’ve had so far this season.

He clearly needs an Erk Russell-type on his staff.

I guess corch didn’t think calling timeout with a minute left was the right move.

If you haven’t yet, go to google maps and search Ross-Ade Stadium, then hone down on it. Good stuff.
