Danny White, I don’t understand — the current College Football Playoff structure is a “broken model”? But you’ve been telling everyone within listening range that Central Florida is the national champion! Why would that need fixing?

Will somebody beat UCF and shut them up! Maybe it will be us someday..

Please and end this long nation UCF nightmare.
In a twisted kind of way, I’d like to see them get in the playoffs and play Alabama.
If it meant they got in over Corch…? Yeah, I could live with that.
Agreed, and somebody convince Saban to never take his foot off the gas. Beat them by 70, and send them into oblivion. Either that or they beat Bama which would be equally enjoyable.
Worst case they play them close and trumpet the moral victory as proof that they really do belong.
I think you mean send the to Bolivia.

They were really good last year. Not playoff good, but really good.
This year their schedule is even worse.
20 in a row, and they’re miserable because non UCF fans don’t love them enough.
My favorite SEC Shorts clip:
Those guys are funny, and they pull no punches.
Ain’t that the same team that narrowly escaped in Memphis, the same team Mizzou just boat raced? Team is less of a joke than the fans who perpetuate this silliness.
Would be nice to get the playoff to 8 so one spot can be devoted to a team from the Group of 5, but at 4, they should never be considered.
I was going to say basically the same thing. I wouldn’t say never be considered, but they need to play at least one team of consequence in a season. Oklahoma, Ohio State, Michigan, Florida, Clemson, us. They could at least boast that on their resume, but the schedule this year is a complete joke. And yes style points count in college football, so squeaking by a weak ass Memphis team essentially eliminates them from the discussion in my opinion. Unless they are undefeated and everyone has 2 loses.
