Big 12 blues

I got news for Bob Bowlsby:  the day the selection committee leaves an undefeated Notre Dame out of the CFP will truly be the day hell freezes over.

Just be honest, Bob, skip the lame straw man argument that nobody’s gonna swallow and lobby for that sweet, sweet eight-team pool so your conference never again has to sweat getting an entry in.

    Comparing a 12-1 TCU to a potential undefeated Notre Dame this season is just silly. TCU had a case that season, but would have had an airtight case if they would not have lost a game.

    There could be a solid case for a Big 12 team over an undefeated Notre Dame, but it won’t succeed, and it won’t be TCU.

    A valiant attempt at tying the committee to the TCU/Ohio State precedent in regards to Notre Dame, but as they say in his neck of the woods… that dog won’t hunt.
