After a season of wondering where the Dawgs’ heads were at times, it’s great to see stuff like this:
“Georgia has a great run defense, (and) they came in with a great game plan,” Kentucky tailback A.J. Rose said. “I give them credit for that. They came out more hungry than us the first half.”
Safety Davonte Robinson agreed.
“They came out, they wanted it more,” Robinson said. “They played hard and hungry.”
Georgia, the team that wanted it more? Maybe Kirby’s messaging is starting to sink in. Be still, my heart.
Get The Picture 
It’s especially nice coming on the heels of the UF game, where for the second time in a row the UF players absolutely refused to give UGA any credit. Instead, it was a bunch of, “we’re the better team,” “we beat ourselves,” “they didn’t impress me,” etc.
Even Mullen absolutely refused to assign the UGA coaches/players any credit, but instead pointed out their own mistakes. Someone should tell Dan he could learn a thing or two from the 18-22 years olds up in Lexington.

If I were Kirby, I would absolutely run the score up as high as possible every time UGA plays the gators. If that meant pulling a Spurrier and calling time out to kick a meaningless last second field goal, then so be it.

Ice their kicker with a timeout when they’re down 53-0 with one minute left in the 4th, when they’re trying to avoid the third consecutive shutout.

Mullen’s comments and attitude about opponents remind me a lot of Foolmer during his time As TN’s HC. Neither ever acknowledged the other team’s role in what transpired on the field, although Mullen takes it further in his ongoing attempts to belittle UGA. Very small, petty man. I was surprised he was unable to get the Gayturds up for a bounceback effort, at home, this past week against Mizzou. That may be telling and bode well about his future at FU, in his first year the players do not seem to be listening to his act. He seems an unlikable guy, which could be hurting him in recruiting. Please, let this be!

His time at Mississippi State hid (for me) how big a d-bag he is. I’m going to enjoy whipping his ass every year for a long time. I think Kirby enjoys it, too.

I noticed the effort level was significantly amplified from previous efforts. I thought the guys played well, particular some of the true freshmen like Adam Anderson. When that kid puts on more muscle he’ll be first team All SEC.
We’ve got clean some things up, including Red Zone play calling. However, we seem to be clicking now and that’s what you want to see this time of year.

Kentucky football fans are used to losing. Believe it or not before SOS the Gator fans were really quit nice after a Dooley led butt kicking. They understood who their Overlords were and accepted it.
