They’ve been hurt, hurt, hurt…

Injury update from the always reliable Seth Emerson:

Gaillard’s sounds like the most serious injury from the Kentucky game.

It would be pretty awesome to get Big Ben back in time for him to get some game work in before December.

Isn’t that Mecole ankle thing kind of recurring from game to game?

Cleveland appeared to be limping running out of the tunnel for warmups in Lex.

We’ve got good depth for sure, but we probably need those #1’s back if there’s going to be any chance in Atlanta.

  4. Am I just convincing myself, or do all of these injuries sound minor enough that by the SEC championship game our OL should finally be back to full strength?

Gaillard does sound like the worst. The good thing is that Trey did good as long as Jake was under center. Maybe they can work on shotgun snaps this week.

    • I only saw one bad shotgun snap, but maybe I wasn’t paying close enough attention. Granted, one bad snap can be the difference in a close ballgame. Hopefully we won’t have any more of those until December, though.

What about the Marshall injuries? David Marshall, Marshall Long, and DaQuan Hawkins-Marshall? Are they coming back… some day?

I was surprised to hear that Trey had actually been spending time on defense last week in practice. That has stopped I’m sure.
