Everyone has the right to change his mind.

Nick Saban, full of shit?  Color me surprised, surprised.

Maybe he had Reggie Ball draw up his ballot.

He also said he didn’t want none.

That feeling must have won out.

I don’t blame him… Who would you rather play?

    Georgia or Oklahoma

Know the game is still fresh for the alums and fans.
The “Ruling Committee” has made their determination based on “facts”, and the final slot came down to the Dawgs and Sooners. And the Dawgs were not selected. There two sides to an argument.
Enough has been said about it. Get over it.
Time to move on to the Sugar Bowl and a 12th win.
That game has to be a must win for them re final polls. They are going against the team that beat the Sooners and played them again in their conference championship game.
This will be a very important game for the Dawgs, too.
Nothing anybody says now means a thing.
That 12th win will say much re 2018 and 2019.
    What is important now.
Keep the Smart bowl streak going!!!

Over it? I never listened to the horseshit. The idea we could lose and get in was laughable. It was a cruel joke. Like the sec referee crew.

Agree. They are not going to take a 2 loss team when there are other P-5 teams with better records. If okie had lost, then tOSU would’ve been picked.

Let’s see if Bama’s 38, 92, and 99 have the success the Dawgs did last year against OU and their Heisman QB.
Again, in the SECCG the Dawgs defense took down another potential Heisman…banged up or not.
The Dawgs closed the freaking door on that first Bama drive. Two pics, and if luck had swung the Dawgs way on fumbles…well, the score would have been different.

Kirby’s right. Bama doesn’t want to play Georgia again.

The coach’s poll obviously doesn’t matter anyway. But this really does hack me off anyway. I am absolutely, 100% certain that Saban voted this way to ensure that Oklahoma didn’t have bulletin board material about his vote. Frankly, I’m surprised that he didn’t vote Ohio State #5 just in case they slipped in. Still, though, this is chickenshit. If knowing how you voted and putting it on a dry erase board in the locker room is enough to get you beaten then you weren’t going to win anyway. Either you really believe we were one of the four best teams or you don’t. Don’t say if if you don’t mean it.

Didn’t expect anything else, they are about to play Oklahoma…..why piss them off and disrespect them?? It would just be “rat poison” for Bama’s players, need to keep them humble and respectful..

True..if it matters just .00000000001 percent, Saban will cover that base. Why not?
      BTW…Who is everyone for?
      Sooners or ‘Bama?
      I suspect I know.
Remember, there won’t be SEC refs so the OK offensive linemen can hold just like ‘Bama’s does in this game.
I’m hoping Oklahoma beats them by a lot. (not that I expect it).
Not because of Saban..he’s getting paid a lot of money and should act exactly as he acts..but because of the SEC officials in Tuskingham and especially for the dumb ass Alabama fans that think we all wish we were them just because they cheer for a team they have absolutely nothing to do with. They are some seriously stupid folks, riding around with flags out their car windows as if we envy them. We may envy ‘Bama’s getting the trophy, but we sure wouldn’t want to be them.

I want Bama to blow both teams out of the woodshed so we end up number 2 in the end.

The older I get, the more I DGAS about any of the SEC teams. It use to be semi civil and you could have a conversation. I would always pull for the SEC teams against othet conferences. Now, it is almost like trying to talk to a liberal….you are either with them or against. That being said, FOCK’em…all of the SEC teams with the exception of UGA. Hopes they all lose, more reasons for the recruits to play with the dawgs.

        • About the only SEC teams I’ll pull for now are LSU, A&M (that may change next year), Vandy and UK. The rest can go pound sand for all I care.

Yeah, he doesn’t fit that crowd well. But I am not going to overrule my fond memories of that group of CFB traditionalists because they were desperate to be relevant and hired Jimbo. I also think they paid a lot for a guy who may not deliver, we will see in the next couple of years, and this recruiting class.

Yea because conservatives are so willing to see both sides of an issue. and seek comity right? What a joke.

“Some” is not unreasonable. I know both liberals and conservatives who won’t consider the other side for an instant. I also know both liberals and conservatives who will discuss issues and come away friends, agreeing to disagree. I’m liberal. My best friend on earth is conservative. We discuss issues sometimes and we’re always closer on things than we expect, and we don’t let it impact our friendship. Sorry, I know, playpen stuff.

I am totally with you about DGAS about other SEC teams. The only reason I give a halfway damn about Alabama is because the better they look, the better we look. And the only reason I care about that is recruiting.

Actually hilarious, but I know you actually believe that…which is sad. While the battlelines now prohibit much cross dialogue of any kind, we all know which side believes in totally restricting free speech (on one side), and promoting hate speech when it is their side. Such small little minds and lack of character. You wear it well Lefty.

              That is such bullshit.

I spend a couple of hours every Sunday with a fellow Nam vet who has cancer. He’s a total right winger even though when we go point by point over policy he hardly agrees with any of Trumps positions. He loves to bitch about Black Panthers and Caravans but he mostly likes fucking with liberals. I have actually pulled him out of some life threatening situations but it doesn’t stop him from needling me nor me him. We talk to each other like I talk to people on this blog and it doesn’t mean shit because we know we can count on each other. I’m not intimidated by this whiny right wing horse shit because I’ve heard it all my life. So take your small minds and lack of character and shove it right up your ass.

But we see that every day, every day, on virtually ANY issue where they forget what they supported just a few short years ago. Two faced, dishonest punks. Surprised he could even spell character. Wish he would try to shove anything my way.

And assuming Trump represents conservatives is another brainless thought. I can’t stand the guy, but I am thankful he is the WH as opposed to some puppet following the anti-American revolutionists who would sell our country down the drain just to have political power. Didn’t vote for him, voted against the other side. Happier about it every day that passes but Trump stepping aside would make me feel better. The left isn’t just without character and integrity, it is led by pure evil. I can respect the ones admitting their goal is to take America down more than the group pretending they are sincere about our country. This is a takeover, and mistaking it for simple politics is naive.

Thought we moved this shit over to their own little page so they could pat themselves on the back. This guy isn’t worth my time.

It’s definitely a chess move as already stated. Same can be said for ranking Clemson #1 and Bama #2. That serves a two-fold purpose. Soften up their potential national championship game opponent and provide motivation to his own team as their coach doesn’t believe they’re as good as Clemson by the way he voted in his final poll. Do I believe he really feels that way, of course not. But this is a typical Saban move always plotting three steps ahead.
