What if Kirby is out of f***s to give?

I’ve reached the point with all these silly “will Georgia be motivated in its bowl game because losing to ‘Bama?” stories that I hope the first time Texas stops Georgia on third down, Smart immediately calls another fake punt.

Kirby is gonna say the bowl gameIS the beginning of next year. We take no prisoners. No reason they shouldn’t be undefeated going into next years re match with Bama. Barring any bad injuries.”

Yeah, I’ve been hearing the Georgia won’t be up for Texas malarky too.

I like where your head is on this one, Senator! Maybe we should go Wild Dawg with Rodrigo, Texas will NEVER be prepared for that! Or let someone like Nauta be the up back in a punt and let HIM throw it. Empty the trick book. How about a shoestring play?

It’s almost like they have not watched this guy and his team evlove over the last three years… I do give a pass to any of the Gator nation. They are simply in denial… Understandable… Complete domination for 20 years, then lived in the past and now losing 5 of the last 8 – and getting whipped the last 2 times out… It can’t be possible… I know, I was on the other side of it in the late 80’s and early 90’s…

We can all understand the concern when you consider the circumstances for the two teams and the “new thinking” regarding bowls these days when compared the old days when bowls were limited to the better teams, and all in warm weather locations. No players sat out, or considered not giving 100%. There was no playoff that you were excluded from, so it was a reward versus a snub.

Even Satan was victim to letdowns against Utah and OU in recent years. Auburn totally DGAS last year when stuck with a return to Atlanta to face mid-major CF. UGA was almost without a pulse in the cold against a weak CF team in the Music City Bowl. But the difference with this UGA team is the number of young talented players who are trying to secure a spot on next year’s team, which will almost certainly be a contender for another high ranking and a playoff spot. Imagine how a “no show” performance will impact the 2019 depth chart in Kirby’s mind, I think we show up pretty well in NOLA. And it doesn’t hurt that Texas is no slouch as a team, and the Big 12 is making a lot of noise about their brand of football being better than the SEC. Doesn’t guarantee a win because our defense has some coverage and contain issues that could be exploited, but I don’t think there will be a lack of effort, playing time is on the line. And there is that chip on their shoulder about proving they should be considered in the top group in the final rankings.

    • I’m on the Mac train here……a real opportunity for UGA to move back into the top 3 or 4 in the world with what we’ve done week and week out this year, to essentially beat teams by 20ish in the mid to late 3rd qtr. of the game. Which will be a stamp/stomp as to who we are and where we are going forward (2019).

God, I was at that crappy Music City Bowl and to cap off such unmotivated shitty play was an absolute deluge leaving the stadium.

I personally hope Kirby coaches our guys up on how to properly flash the upside down horns.

Georgia will be working in a new DC and likely some new assistants on the headphones in a game situation. It will be all-business.

I should have known that article was written by Chip Towers. He is such a downer to me. I’m ready to see some more kick ass football from the Dawgs one more time!

Kirby will take a bunch of angry dawgs to New Orleans. Should be playing in playoffs – Somebody’s gotta pay – May as well well be Texas!

Did anyone actually read the article? Seems Chip is saying there won’t be a letdown by the team and that they WILL be motivated against TX. I am right there with everyone else that I don’t need another article about a letdown, but this seems to be more in response to those articles than another one to add to the list.
