For Edsall, what is the contract incentive for transfers?

As you said, being one of the first on the roster guarantees playing time. Unless he can’t hack “survey of mathematics”, or “history of technology”.

I can’t figure out things here. A massive roster overhaul is required, and Collins seems to be behind already. Haven’t heard of any staff hired yet, but he’s announced nobody from Johnson’s staff is being retained. Then they end up signing the entire class that was committed to the previous staff, including two option qb’s. I’m sure they’re going to have to get a transfer qb to play the style Collins wants. No wonder they gave him seven years. Gonna be a long transition. You can’t flip a roster at a place like tech as quickly as other places.

I saw GT signee Jordan Yates play several times this season, including the 7A state championship victory in MBS, where he went 13 of 23 passing for 178.
They ran the spread offense and he can throw accurately. At GT, he just needs some talented receivers.
