Network doesn’t give any specifics as to when he’ll be on, but, he’ll be in studio with their crew and their coverage begins at noon.

Well, what can you say, really? Just kinda sad.

It’s not sad. That’s not fair. Be nice. He was a good @ UGA and still loves our school. And just think he might have re colored his hair for the occasion 😂

Sorry I wasn’t more clear. I was not attacking him in any way. I simply think it’s sad that his coaching career didn’t end on a high note.

Hope they understand that cmr has a less is more style or there might be some awkward gaps in comments. Think he will do great a hope he moves back to Athens at some point.

Come on Dawg fans, if you really are Dawg fans, it’s time to get over the Mark Richt bashing and welcome him back as a DGD. Hell most of us welcomed back Jim Donnan and he was one step from doing hard time.
I happen to think he would be a good talking head, he does know offense and he it university admired by most CFB fans, not holding a grunge because of some imagined wrong he did to UGA. He was and is a class act and a great human being. Let all all the haters hate.

Oh you want to fight huh? That’s a low blow. You bring up his recruiting??? Hell he was all over and got great players. Have you forgot? Apparently you lost u damn mind.

He got great players that he did absolute nothing with while they were at Georgia.
From 2001 to 2015, he put the four most players into the NFL. He never even played for a national title, and no SEC title after 2005.
Yeah, I wanna fight, Mikey the keyboard bully.

No, you are a dingleberry. And you aren’t a fighter, you are a dick that sits behind a computer and takes cheap shots at people who are far more accomplished. Yeah, your comment really cuts him deep, Richt is such a loser. Sad little person that you are, it seems appropriate you would have an identity with Urbie in it.

Buddy, there’s nothing cheap about the shots I take. Every single one of them earned by Mark Richt.
I noticed you didn’t actually address those shots, as they’re factually correct and cannot be argued regardless of your feeeeeelings.
As for the nome de plume, I suggest you familiarize yourself with irony, satire, and sarcasm, and that sweet spot where they all intersect on the Venn Diagram. M’kay?

And btw go lookup all the players that went to the NFL under Mark Richt. I can tell u it’s a shit load

And what exactly did he win with all those players? Maybe you’re not intelligent enough to realize that what you just said is the most damning thing about Mark Richt that anyone could say.

I think he would be better as a color analyst than a studio guy. I would like to hear him break down a replay or be able to see things you normally don’t get from an analyst.
I think Richt in a panel of talking heads isn’t going to be loud or bombastic.

Wonderful! Richt can provide critical perspectives on cutting edge undersigning tactics and roster mismanagement strategies!

ESPN’s National Signing Day will get 10 wins, 2 inexplicable losses, and finish 2nd in the SEC East.

I can’t wait to hear him express his amazement at top teams signing quality offensive linemen. I hope he gives his rationale on not recruiting offensive linemen. I also hope he’ll touch on all the top players from Georgia who ended up at Auburn or Alabama who really wanted to go to Georgia but no one contacted them until it was too late.
Pretty typical of that thieving con man, getting paid for talking about something he was not really very good at. He padded his recruiting class rankings with skill position players while he left huge holes in the roster. Every season seemed like we had no depth or experience at one critical position group or another while we were loaded at some other position. Richt may be the worst person possible to comment on recruiting.

I wish he could be on the CFB Playoff Selection Committee. He is a man in whom there is no guile. Everyone knows he would be honest and fair.

He did just step down from a job because he hired his son to be an apparently bad QB coach, and he wouldn’t fire him. Richt’s probably better than most college coaches, but he’s not the second coming.

I’d like to see Coach Richt become part of ESPN’s game day and part of their broadcast.
He is a talented, fair, coach and man.
Think it is time for some of you dudes to bury the hatchet.
Overall he did good job coaching the Dawgs and recruiting for us.
If you think he was such a poor recruiter, then let me remind you where he coached before he got to Athens.
There was a reason why FSU during that period dominated college football and the polls. He was part of that reason.
Trouble with too many of you dudes you live in that north Georgia out of date culture re football.

CMR will be a better commentator than Adnan who they just canned for giving out Russian Secrets to other media outlets. Mickey sure has turned ruthless in his old age. Perhaps he should go back and make class cartoon for the most part that adults enjoyed as much as the kids.
As far as CMR “DGD” Bliess him and if Briles can hook up at Southern Miss maybe Coach Richt with this new experience have another shot at the sidelines. He was a quality man and Miami changed since he was in thos parts. Perhaps he will choose his assistants better after the last two groups pretty much made him walk the plank….Still a DGD ! Get over your hate, Haters ! Most of your posts sounds like your in Congress.

I love Mark Richt, but he has no one to blame but himself for those assistant hires, especially at Miami. His son had no business being a QBs coach at a major program like that and it bit him in the ass. Some people want to give Richt credit for choosing family over football by retiring instead of firing his son, but he never should have put himself in that position to begin with. And I think it’s telling that Diaz cleaned house with the strength & conditioning staff as well. Again, I say this as someone who thinks the world of Mark Richt and wanted to see him be successful at Miami.
