Taggart on not signing a QB recruit for the second year in a row: "we have a plan. I think a pretty good plan. I don’t necessarily want to discuss it right now." #FSU

“... Shoot, why does anybody who’s ever won something do it again? Because it’s cool. So, let’s go do it again. Let’s see if we’ve got what it takes.” -- Stetson Bennett, The Athletic, 3/22/22
He might need to recruit 10 blue chip offensive lineman before any QB will speak with him. Francois should consider a UFC career, it would be less punishment than he took at FSU.

The plan: Now that there is basically free agency in CFB Taggart intends to steal an experienced QB from a rival team.

FSU lost out yesterday to Maryland on a 4-star QB. How does FSU lose out to Maryland on a recruit let alone at a position at which they have a serious need? Can’t imagine Taggart lasts long at FSU.

Ad hoc planning is the best planning.

I still can’t believe FSU hired that clown as their HC. He’s turning that program into the next dumpster fire. Oregon has got to be saying a Hallelujah everyday over losing him.

I’m a South GA boy and I sure hope you are right. Being from and living down here, I am almost as happy when Free Shoes loses as I am when one of our rivals loses. They have a lot of “fans” down here and they are a delusional, loudmouth bunch of people. They truly think they are a national power like they were in the 90s and they live to talk shit about UGA. This is because most of them are former UGA “fans” who jumped ship some time during the Donnan years and jumped on the Free Shoes bandwagon. My brother in law is just such a person. I hope Taggart destroys them.

This Taggart experiment is gonna end really bad for FSU.

Agreed he will be gone by this time next year. A failed experiment going south quickly…..

He’ll be gone after week 5. This guy is a disaster.

He is such a disaster… i had to look it up, and i’m frankly shocked they ended up 5-7. When i watched them in September, they were one of the most poorly coached teams that I have seen in a while.
Part of me thinks we need a decent FSU to take from the Gators (even though they can take from us as well). Maybe a good Miami and UCF is enough though, not sure.

He’s got a plan. It’s the best plan. He’s got the best people working on it. They’re going to have a quarterback, he’s going to be a beautiful quarterback.

This was my reading of his quote also.

I haven’t followed his career closely, but he did pretty well at USF (of all places). However, FSU was awful last season and that look like it may have been his peak.

All I heard was he is known as a great second year turn around guy, he better get that ship turned around. But he has an overall loosing record, to me the hire was a reach for fsu.
