It’s a new day at Georgia Tech.

Preseason happy talk?  You’re at Georgia Tech!  YOU CAN DO THAT!!!

One thing I’ll say for the genius is that he didn’t waste any effort on smoke blowing.  He just blamed his defensive coordinators for being inept.  (Not that he didn’t have a point.)

    Next; we’ll hear “the seniors are showing a lot of leadership”, “everyone is participating in the offseason workouts” and “there is a real change of culture going on”. I sort of miss the Genius’s blunt, no sugar coating, jerk personality.

      I tried to give her a chance and thought some of the initial criticisms of her were a bit off-sides, but her reporting and speculating on the CFP is just awful. And she is sorta a ACC shill — odd considering she went to Maryland (I think).

    Sunshine pumping after a no-bowl season as you move to a totally different offensive system for which your team is woefully not constructed to run (and a defense that just sucks)? At GTU, YOU CAN DO THAT!!!!!!!!!!!

      Once again, to be fair, they did play in front of dozens of people in the Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit, that mecca of winter travel. Of course, 1936 National Champion Minnesota kicked their ass.

      Mickey, Tech did go to a bowl last season. They had a glorious bowl experience in Detroit, losing to Minnesota.

    I hate them all, but I sincerely do hope that they’re having fun right now because it sure as hell isn’t going to be any fun at all once the season starts.

    Except for us. It’s going to be a LOT of fun for us to watch Tech football this year.
